My passion for education came from my personal introduction into the industry. I felt that a lot of things were lacking and felt unfulfilled. As I started taking more classes and meeting more stylists, I began to feel supported and educated. I educate because while I love being able to spread my knowledge on the technical side of the industry and offer support to other stylists who might feel the way I did when I was starting out. I want to provide the things I was missing and be the person I needed back then.

My technical skill color classes are full of business, social media, and photography info, as well as a Q + A conversation throughout the entire day to answer any and all important questions, in or out of the salon.

In this class, you will see a demo of a vivid application with many techniques (usually the class decides) on a live model who is already prepped and ready for semi permanent hair color application. you’ll learn consultation tips, techniques, product knowledge, formulation, social media, branding, photography and more.

INSTAELEVATED: a social media marketing class on the ins and outs of Instagram marketing for hairstylists.

SPLIT PRISMS: a virtual color class demoed on a live model. In this class, you'll see a full demo, start to finish, of a split dye with a rainbow prism technique.

SALON POLICIES

Olive + Onyx is by appointment only. 

Color services require a non-refundable deposit (varies based on service) to book, as well as a credit card on file.
Deposits are non-refundable will be credited toward your service as long as you reschedule abiding by the following cancellation policies:
  • 48 hours notice is required for cancellation/rescheduling. 
  • if you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, there is a cancellation fee due of either 25% (more than 24 hours notice) or 50% (less than 24 hours notice) of the services booked.
  • Any same day cancellations or no showed appointments will incur a 100% cancelation fee. This also includes same day service changes.

We do not give refunds, however we always want you to be happy with your hair. Please let us know within 3 days if you are not absolutely in love with your hair so we may find a resolution.

All extension services require 72 hours notice for cancellation or will be subject to 50% cancellation fee.
