If you told me 10 years ago that I would be where I am now, I wouldn't believe you. I probably wouldn't believe that I am still doing hair after 13 years. Starting out in the industry can be tough, and having the leadership and education needed to succeed isn't always a given. I graduated school and went through training at a salon that just wasn't an environment that I could thrive in, so much that I actually enrolled in college to become a vet tech. I ended up at a new salon owned by amazing people who believed in me so much that I realized I'm right where I'm supposed to be.
I decided I wanted to be the best educator I could be - supportive, knowledgeable, approachable. I want to be the person that I didn't have when I needed her for others that need me now. I worked for 7+ years at my last salon offering color education to assistants then decided it was time to move on and think bigger. Now I'm in my own salon suite continuing to do the services that I love and offering independent education for hairstylists ready to advance their skills in blonding and vivid hair color and those looking to build their business using social media.

Behind the chair, I specialize in vivid hair color, blonding, and extensions. Blonding always comes first when it comes to vivids, and I have taken many classes over the years from talented, educated stylists to perfect my blonding techniques.
I specialize in education on vivid hair color, blonding, and social media for hairstylists. I have always loved bright hair color and felt the need to offer more vivid color education. as it isn't as commonly offered in the education part of the industry. I strive to be an approachable educator that is hands on, leaving hairstylists feeling confident when they leave my classes and ready to get back into the salon and try the new techniques they've learned. I want stylists to leave feeling supported, excited, and inspired.

SALON POLICIES
Olive + Onyx is by appointment only.
Color services require a non-refundable deposit (varies based on service) to book, as well as a credit card on file.
Deposits are non-refundable will be credited toward your service as long as you reschedule abiding by the following cancellation policies:
We do not give refunds, however we always want you to be happy with your hair. Please let us know within 3 days if you are not absolutely in love with your hair so we may find a resolution.
All extension services require 72 hours notice for cancellation or will be subject to 50% cancellation fee.
Deposits are non-refundable will be credited toward your service as long as you reschedule abiding by the following cancellation policies:
- 48 hours notice is required for cancellation/rescheduling.
- if you cancel, reschedule, or change services less than 48 hours in advance, there is a cancellation fee due of 50% of the services booked.
- Any same day cancellations or no showed appointments will incur a 100% cancelation fee.
We do not give refunds, however we always want you to be happy with your hair. Please let us know within 3 days if you are not absolutely in love with your hair so we may find a resolution.
